Bar 21 is a local Cafe & Bar that I had the chance to re-imagine the branding for.
I wanted to focus on a branding that was unique compared to the bars in the local area; by adding some 'fun' to it!
The main issue I had to keep in mind was to make it 'fun' but not 'childish'.
This, is Charlie, he serves as the main mascot of the brand, showing up in all kinds of goofy/silly scenarios. I believe mascots are the sort of thing that even adults can get behind, for example, in professional sports games, teams typically have a mascot that represents them.
When designing the menu, I wanted some kind of animated element. As such I created a version that could be displayed on a screen above the bar, this features a Lunch Menu, and an Afterdark Menu which can be switched between, as well as a clock in the corner!
