In 2025, I picked up an edition of ‘Oxford’s Book of Birds’ from a local charity shop, inside I found many articles and illustrations of birds, one page featuring ducks took my attention. I decided to redesign the page and body text into a poster. I used mixed-media techniques to recolour, and cut out the ducks, and put them in a scene I created myself, with some ducks keeping their paper-cut out outline. Showing some ‘imposter’ ducks among the real ducks.
