Stuck in their hometown of Askvoll, Hrafn & Felmming, two leather workers set off to find materials to work with. The two have gone their whole life, not knowing too much about one another, despite working together for over 30 years. The journey brings them through great places, finding beauty in every little thing. Despite having their differences at first, they soon find themselves enjoying each other’s company and finding love. With their bond closer, they continue their journey but without a specific goal, only with the sole purpose of being with the other. Forests and waterfalls, night-shifts and picnics, they spend together for many days.
This was a short story I wrote in response to seeing this piece in the MET Museum Open Access Gallery, I challenged myself to create an album cover package using this painting.
